Aarogyasri is a unique health scheme being implemented by State Government throughAarogyasri Health Care Trust. The scheme provides financial assistance to BPL families to meet the catastrophic health needs.
Serious diseases affecting Heart, Kidney, Cancer, Brain, Burns and accident cases etc., are covered under the scheme. A total of 938 Surgeries / Therapies in 31 systems are covered under the Aarogyasri Scheme. The list of these Surgeries / Therapies is available with PHC Doctors and Network Hospitals.
All the BPL families identified by BPL ration card issued by Civil Supplies Department are eligible. All the people whose photo and name appear on Health Card / BPL (White, Annapurna and Anthyodaya Anna Yojana) ration card and suffering from identified diseases are eligible for availing treatment under the scheme.
A health card is a card that comes along with the Health Policy. It is similar to an Identity card. This card would entitle you to avail cashless hospitalization facility at any of our network hospitals. A health card mentions the contact details and the contact numbers of the TPA.
ROLE OF AAROGYA MITHRA
Facilitate the Emergency Telephonic approval cases by connecting the call conference to Trust doctors and enter the details of surgery/ treatment and other data of the Pt and NWH and provides telephonic intimation ID. (TID)
After detailed examination and verification of the submitted technical documents, the Panel doctor (Specialist) approves and forward the case to the Trust Doctor for further process.
If the Documentary evidence is insufficient doctor will keep the case pending for updating remarks.
If the pending updated by NWH is not satisfactory as per the AHCT guidelines the case will be rejected.
The Pre-auth executive(PEX) will verify Non technical document details of Preauthorization .
Aarogya mithra / Executives quickly follow up the case with RAMCO of the NWH to update the Case.
